Summary

We’re a fast-growing creative and technical team seeking an experienced Re-recording Mixer to support our Audio Lead in developing cutting-edge immersive video content for next-generation mixed reality platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in surround and immersive mixing and is excited to apply these skills in emerging media formats.

Role Overview

As a Re-recording Mixer , you'll join a dedicated in-house audio team and work directly with the Lead. Your primary focus will be creating immersive soundscapes in support of high-end spatial video experiences. You’ll start by owning detailed predubs and transition into leading final mixes as you become integrated into our production pipeline. This is an opportunity to evolve traditional mixing expertise into innovative workflows for immersive media. You’ll also contribute to editorial and technical initiatives that support immersive sound creation.

Key Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in post-production sound, with a strong focus on surround and immersive audio mixing (e.g., Ambisonics, Dolby Atmos, or other object-based formats)
• Passion for storytelling and crafting environments through sound
• Proficient with Pro Tools, S6 or similar control surfaces, and immersive mixing workflows
• Strong understanding of broadcast and streaming standards
• Solid hands-on experience in sound editing

Ideal Experience

• Background working with non-traditional formats (VR, interactive, mixed reality, or gaming)
• Understanding of acoustics, psychoacoustics, and spatial audio theory
• Familiarity with scripting for workflow automation (Python or similar preferred, not required)
• Comfortable using command-line tools to run apps and scripts
