SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT COORDINATOR

Serena & Lily is seeking a Social Media & Content Coordinator to join our marketing team. We're looking for a self-motivated, innovative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is impeccably organized, and has a genuine passion for home design and social media. In this role, you'll spearhead industry-leading content creation, curation, community engagement, and relationship-building initiatives. Reporting to the Social Media & Content Manager, you'll also work closely with the Social Media & Content Coordinator and the Director of Content, Social Media, & Partnerships. You will have a meaningful impact on Serena & Lily’s growth, bottom line, and brand identity in an exciting, design-driven company where being creative is just as important as being analytical.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content & Storytelling: You will source, curate, create, caption, and schedule engaging content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. You will monitor emerging social, cultural, and lifestyle trends and make informed predictions that allow us to lead, rather than follow. You will help gather and organize content assets for use across the brand. You will request and manage permissions for user-generated content. You will assist with video shoots as needed. Community & Collaborations: You will monitor and respond to direct messages, comments, and mentions across all social media channels in a timely and professional manner. You will manage collaborations and social inboxes, assisting the Social Media & Content Manager with vetting, responding to, and coordinating partnerships, product seeding, and sponsored content opportunities. You will foster and grow communities across all platforms, including Facebook Groups. You will help manage our review platforms (e.g., Yelp and Google My Business). QUALIFICATIONS: You have 1-3 years of relevant work experience. (Personal passion projects are a plus!) You possess a deep and intuitive understanding of social media, with an emphasis on Instagram and TikTok. You are passionate about social media, home design, and building the Serena & Lily brand. You have a keen eye for design. You are a capable writer and a meticulous proofreader. You have strong interpersonal skills, and you love to build relationships and community. You are well-organized and always on the lookout for ways to work more effectively. You are self-motivated and performance-driven. You can work in both strategic and hands-on, detail-oriented capacities. You are curious, creative, and eager to constantly challenge our approach. You can move or handle furniture, filming equipment, and other objects, generally weighing 0-50 pounds. You can operate and use all equipment necessary to the role, including ladders. You’re located in the contiguous US. POSITION DETAILS: Rarely, such as for video shoots or events, you may need to travel alone or with a group, and you may need to work extended hours or on weekends. Our marketing team lives across the country, and this is a remote role. You are welcome to work from our corporate offices in Sausalito, CA, where local team members sometimes spend the day. COMPENSATION: $67k-$70k per year is the anticipated starting base pay for this role. This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this role. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: experience, education, and skills. Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance should they choose to participate in Serena & Lily’s benefits. Employees can enroll in our company’s 401k plan. During the first year of employment, full-time employees accrue twenty-one days of PTO and seven paid holidays throughout the year.
