Receiving Clerk | Hobart, IN
Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Starting Pay: $17
Shift(s): 8 am - 5 pm
The Receiving Associate processes all inbound products, verifying manufacture part numbers, quantities, other part information and the integrity of the parts to ensure the highest quality product is available for our customers.
Requirements & Skills:
·A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
·2 years receiving experience in warehouse.
·Ability and experience driving a forklift.
·Ability to solve problems in the moment.
·Experience working in fast moving environments with changing priorities.
·Must be very organized.
·Good verbal communication skills
·High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Primary Duties Include:
Compares identifying information of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
·Inspect shipments for damage and correct quantities.
·Report damages or shortages to Depot Supervisor.
·Match shipments to their associated purchase orders and enter receiving data on paperwork.
·Prepare and organize received stock for inventory.
·Sort and place product in proper rack locations. Consolidate when able to .
·Label product according to ITR’s processes.
·Receive and put away product within 3 days of receiving date.
·Operate warehouse equipment, including a forklift, picker and reach truck.
·Ability to lift/move 50lbs using proper lifting skills.
·Participate in department meetings and training as required.
·Comply with OSHA Standards, and other safety regulations, to assist in maintaining the safety and security of the warehouse.
·Other duties as assigned.
