Sheet Metal/Crating Team Member
Type: Temp to hire
Shift: Monday thru Friday - 6:30am to 3:00pm (occasional mandatory overtime on Saturdays)
Pay Rate: $18 to $20 per hour
Requirements: Resume / Interview / Background Check / Drug Test / E verify
Our client is a premier designer/manufacturer of customized process water chillers for medical and laboratory applications. Job Description:
Cutting, fitting and insulating sheet metal body panels for units
Cleaning, labeling, and preparing units for shipment
Assembling crates and boxing units to be shipped
Preferred Skills
Ability to read a ruler
Knowledge of how to use hand tools - tin snips, screw drivers, hammers, etc.
Comfortable using power tools; saws, grinders, drivers, drills, etc.
Able to lift 50-70 lbs
Communicate issues in a timely manner
Have excellent follow-through and follow-up skills
Qualifications:
Good mechanical skills
Good interpersonal, organizational & listening skills
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task
Ability to write and speak effectively with employees throughout the organization
• A sense of humor
