Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking Systems Engineering Manager 2 specializing in Modeling, Simulation and Analysis. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel Program.

What You’ll Get To Do
The successful applicant will:
Develop Payload models to simulate and evaluate hardware performance
Perform model validation of various Payloads through test and analysis
Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for missile system payloads
Verify Payload specifications and designs through modeling and simulation, test data processing, and performance analysis
Create technical reports and present analysis results
Support department initiatives; technology roadmap creation, cross-campus/sector involvement, and NCTA project leadership
Support employee development; employee inclusion, engagement, mentoring and career development; employee training and identification and training of skills required to execute programs
Support staffing and workload forecast; Recruiting, sourcing, onboarding, performance management and contract maintenance for the contractors working in the business area
Develop Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for the systems engineering functions
Interface with AF customer
Develop schedules to meet contractual requirements
Utilize earned value management techniques to measure and report on program performance

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Job Qualifications
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 6 years related experience or Masters Degree in STEM and 4 years related experience.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Top Secret security clearance with an in-scope investigation date within the last 6 years.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Enhanced Security Clearances within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
Experience with ICBM Weapon Systems
Experience in modeling and simulation of ICBM weapon systems
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have
5 years of experience with ICBM Weapon Systems
5 years of experience in modeling and simulation of ICBM weapon systems
Experience with Threat modeling
Experience with ICBM class countermeasures
