The successful candidate will be the technology program leader for color cosmetics, driving the innovation strategy and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to build and engage on the strategy. This role requires the individual to be an R&D business partner to the Chief Brands Officers, co-creating and co-owning the category innovation pipeline and product development executions. The SVP will also be responsible for designing and staffing a world-class R&D color cosmetics organization, building and owning the long-term cosmetics technology roadmap, and ensuring that innovations are fit for use in all key markets. Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor's degree, preferably an advanced degree, in a scientific field, and a minimum of 15 years' of experience in the beauty industry. Essential qualifications include a deep understanding of color cosmetic science, a proven track record in managing innovation programs and teams, and strong technical and scientific experience in R&D areas such as formulation, product design, and process development. The role also demands experience in R&D capabilities building, management and development of people, and a solid knowledge of sustainability. The ideal candidate will be passionate about beauty and beauty products, have strong communication skills, and a proven ability to lead multi-functional and multi-cultural teams.
