Job Summary:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the mining truck design team. This role involves creating and updating engineering designs, interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, and supporting both new product introductions (NPI) and existing manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying design or process issues and providing timely solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and revise engineering changes for mining trucks.
Interpret and apply engineering drawings and blueprints.
Investigate and analyze design and manufacturing processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to NPI.
Ensure high-quality, cost-effective designs are delivered within project timelines.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
Requirements:
5–7 years of relevant experience (U.S. or international).
Strong collaboration skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with Creo for 3D modeling (simulation tools are a plus, but not required).
Solid problem-solving capabilities, including root cause analysis and concept development.
Automotive industry experience preferred.
