Job Description

Senior Agile Product Owner (Cyber Security) In this hybrid role, you will blend Scrum Master best practices with Product Management responsibilities. As the Scrum Master, you'll guide and support Agile teams through all stages of the development cycle—removing roadblocks, facilitating ceremonies, and championing continuous improvement. Simultaneously, as the Product Operations Manager, you'll define product strategy, collaborate with stakeholders to set the vision and roadmap, and ensure the product meets market needs and business objectives. Responsibilities Scrum Master Responsibilities Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, product backlog refinement, and retrospectives Remove Impediments: Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder the team's progress, ensuring a smooth flow of work Promote Agile Best Practices: Coach team members on Scrum principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement Performance Tracking: Monitor sprint health, team velocity, and other key metrics to optimize delivery Product Management Responsibilities Product Vision & Strategy: Define, articulate, and maintain a clear product vision that aligns with both customer needs and business goals Requirement Definition: Gather and prioritize requirements from various stakeholders, creating detailed user stories and acceptance criteria UX-Centric Development: Leverage user feedback, market trends, and competitive insights to evolve the product offering Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment and successful product launches Requirements 5+ years of experience in roles spanning product management, project management, and/or scrum master responsibilities within a technology environment (cyber security experience a must) Track Record of Delivering Products: Proven history of driving product initiatives from concept to release, ideally within a startup or high-growth setting Agile/Scrum Expertise: Hands-on knowledge of Agile methodologies Technical Aptitude: Comfortable discussing technical complexities with engineering teams and translating them into user-friendly requirements Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders, manage expectations, and convey complex ideas clearly Strategic Thinking & Execution: Solid understanding of product lifecycle, business strategy, and go-to-market execution Start-up Experience SixMap is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetics, or any other basis forbidden under federal, state, or local laws.
