CV Resources is representing a client seeking a Senior Accountant – Vancouver, WA (Fully Onsite)

Our client, a well-established organization in Vancouver, WA, is looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to oversee and support critical accounting and financial operations. This is a fully onsite, contract-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay up to $45/hr .

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approve accounting processes, including:

• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable batches

• Manual batches and Journal Entries

• Cash Receipts (JE’s / Sales)

• Monthly Visa and excise tax reviews and payments

• Perform monthly cash reconciliations

• Support Accounting Assistant tasks, including backup review and approval

• Provide payroll support on a bi-monthly basis:

• Review payroll with Accounting Specialist

• Attend payroll-related Finance & HR meetings

• Conduct PERS analysis

• Assist with annual budgeting processes

• Support year-end financial close and reporting:

• Perform close-and-roll activities

• Prepare year-end financial statements for multiple entities

• Assist with filing W-2s and 1099s

  Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role

  • Strong knowledge of AP, AR, payroll, journal entries, and month-end/year-end close processes

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, able to manage multiple responsibilities

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
