Role Description:

The Senior 3D Real-Time Artist is in charge of creating virtual art and assets for use in production as well as QA on all real time assets. They will be responsible for the delivery of technical requirements and functionality for multiple real-time experiences, solving immediate and short term problems as well as improving long-term workflows and practices for Virtual Production.

Overall Responsibilities

• Lead asset creation and QA for Real-Time rendering
• Create realistic lighting and materials using Unreal Engine
• Debugging and optimization of scenes and individual assets
• Provide technical advice and support for other artists and creatives
• Contribute to the success and growth of the team by mentoring junior artists, documenting techniques, workflows and standards

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience using Unreal Engine
• BA/BS/BFA in design/art or equivalent work experience
• Ability to work and interact directly with internal clients and creative teams
• Portfolio/Reel demonstrating a wide array of stunning CG content
• Demonstrated high art skills
• Deep understanding of PBR workflows
• Excellent problem solving and analytics skills
• Ability to prioritize and work independently.

Bonus:

• Experience working with an LED Volume
• Experience with Blueprint scripting, C++ programming language
• Python scripting
• Experience working with Autodesk Maya/3DSMAX and V-Ray
• Experience working with OCIO/ACES color management
• Experience working with CAD files
