The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the hotel guests, staff, and property. This includes patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, responding to incidents, and ensuring adherence to hotel security protocols. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol hotel premises : Regularly walk through the hotel and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Monitor security systems : Operate CCTV and alarm systems, monitor security footage, and respond to any security breaches or suspicious activity.
  • Respond to emergencies : Act quickly in emergency situations, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, or security incidents. Provide assistance as needed.
  • Guest and staff safety : Assist guests with security concerns, answer questions regarding hotel policies, and ensure the protection of personal belongings.
  • Incident reporting : Record detailed reports of any incidents, accidents, or irregularities. Follow up with appropriate authorities if necessary.
  • Access control : Ensure that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas and that all hotel doors and exits are secure.
  • Assist with lost and found : Manage and track lost items found on the property, ensuring they are properly documented and stored.
  • Enforce hotel policies : Uphold and enforce hotel policies on conduct, safety, and security.
  • Collaboration : Work with hotel management and local law enforcement when needed to ensure a safe environment.

This is an hourly position with a compensation of $31 per hour.
