Job Description
We are looking for Building Substitute Teachers, if you’re interested in starting in August, in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Metropolitan Area. Building substitute teacher roles are perfect for those who want exposure to multiple classrooms at the same school.
Building substitutes support across the same school and work with multiple classrooms. This is a great opportunity to build experience and gain exposure to a broad range of teaching styles and behavior management principles while building relationships at the same school and having some stability.
In this role, you will be able to grow your experience and relationships with multiple schools and gain exposure to a broad range of teaching styles and behavior management principles. This role comes with a competitive daily rate between $180 - $210 per day, paid weekly. With this role, there is no requirement to work weekends, and will be on a flexible schedule within a Monday to Friday week, within hours of 7:30 - 3:00/4:30 pm. This position is for the 2024-2025 school year.
Responsibilities:
Support the school where needed
Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
Assign lessons and follow the classroom teacher’s lesson plans
Maintaining a safe learning environment
Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the students’ learning experiences and support them as needed

Qualifications:
Minnesota Teachers License
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Applicants must have professional proficiency in English

Tier 3 or 4 MN teaching license
Master's Degree
