Position Summary: Will be a part of the Monster IT Project Management Office (PMO) team, and will work closely with PMO leadership and team, the SAP Applications leadership and team, and other functional and technical stakeholders. Will collaborate to initiate, execute and control assigned SAP initiatives (ECC, S/4HANA or related to Monster's migration from ECC to S/4HANA) in alignment with business processes and strategic goals. The SAP Project Manager (PM) will actively participate in optimizing PMO processes and practices to improve Monster IT's overall ability to deliver projects, focusing specifically on SAP projects.
Essential Job Functions: - Work with SAP leadership to set overall direction and priorities for the SAP portfolio of projects and roadmap. Collaborate with key stakeholders and project teams to set and align business and IT strategic goals. Help sequence and prioritize projects to deliver against identified business and IT goals.
- Work with PMO leadership to define, establish, enforce and refine PMO processes and best practices, specifically as pertains to leading and managing SAP initiatives. Ensure projects outcomes and management practices align with industry standards and meet company policies and compliance requirements.
- Provide hands-on program and project management leadership including project initiation, scheduling, execution, control and closing. Apply SAP's Activate methodology or other relevant framework across all project phases, where applicable. Lead multiple projects based on capacity/complexity. Some projects will be delivered internally, others will require working with and managing third-party vendors from initiation to delivery.
- Provide change management leadership as part of SAP project management activities, by anticipating, evaluating and mitigating the impact of change on people, processes and organizations, while driving business engagement to improve solution adoption.
- Ensure project meeting preparation, manage follow up activities in a timely manner, document RAID log entries (risks, actions, issues, and decisions), budget vs. actual spend, and escalate to PMO leadership, project sponsors, steering committees and other project stakeholders as required.
- Lead or participate in project related business discussions to ensure requirements are well understood, appropriately documented and business objectives (including quantified benefits) will be adequately addressed by the technology solution.
- Plan for and coordinate internal and external resource requirements (human or otherwise) to ensure smooth project execution.
- Lead or participate in third party vendor selection and management as required by individual projects. This may include pre-sales meetings, RFP management/oversight, MNDA/MSA/SOW preparation and negotiations in collaboration with Monster Energy legal department.
- Manage project budget and spend, along with regular budget vs. actuals reporting, incorporating change requests and related impact as per PMO best practices.
- Work with SAP Leadership to align project deliveries with release management and other development activities as to minimize impact on daily operations and ensure smooth project deployment.
Position Requirements: - 7+ years' hands on experience in SAP Project Management (ECC, S/4HANA, sidecars)
- Proven track record of SAP implementation and Digital Transformation projects. Strong communication, collaboration, problem solving, vendor management skills.
- Ability to address short-term tactical requirements without losing site of the longer-range strategic direction
- Able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven experience in project managements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- PMP Certification
