Role Summary:The ideal candidate is a quick, detailed and tech-savvy professional with excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach. What you’ll do:
Lead Sales Efforts: Oversee the full sales cycle—from discovery and demos to negotiations—to close new clients and upgrades. Use personalized email cadences to proactively engage and convert prospects into new business.
Achieve Targets: Meet or exceed monthly sales goals, providing regular updates and insights. Create a sales pipeline approximately twice your monthly sales target.
Be Organized: Accurately track sales in the CRM for clear, automated daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Build and Nurture Relationships: Build strong nonprofit relationships, understand their needs, and deliver/create tailored volunteer management solutions.
Master volunteer management: Develop comprehensive expertise in POINT’s tools and services to confidently assist and advise prospects.
Market Research: Stay informed of nonprofit industry trends, competitors, and emerging needs to refine sales strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with Support, Marketing and Product teams to ensure that POINT's offerings meet market demands and client feedback is integrated into future product development.
Outreach and Network: Outbound lead generation as needed. Attend conferences, networking events, and community gatherings to develop potential leads.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in sales, business development, or partnership roles, ideally within the nonprofit, SaaS, or tech sectors.
Proven Track Record: Consistently exceeded sales targets with over two years of proven success in SaaS sales.
Consistent Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with relentless follow through. Exudes confidence and kindness on video calls and demos.
Strategic Thinker: Ability to assess client needs, analyze market trends, and devise innovative sales strategies.
Self-Motivated: Thrives in a remote work setting with a proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, tight deadlines, and a high-volume workload efficiently.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, sales automation tools, and digital platforms.
Bonus: 1+ year selling nonprofit SaaS, CRM, or other technical solutions with scalable pricing. Familiarity with nonprofit challenges is preferred but not required.
Compensation
Base: $70-90 a year, Commission is uncapped
Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.
