For our German-based client Bicker Elektronik GmbH we are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer USA with a technical background in reliable power supply solutions. The company is starting operations in the US in 2025, therefore which offers a highly motivated, entrepreneurial candidate the opportunity to help build a subsidiary from the ground up and grow with the company.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly-motivated Sales Engineer with entrepreneurial spirit to join our newly built team in the US. The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing sales with our existing clients in the US as well as growing the client base across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain Bicker's products and services to potential customers.
  • Customer Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing technical expertise.
  • Solution Customization: Collaborate with customers to develop customized solutions that meet their technical specifications and budget constraints.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team in understanding customer demands and offer technical support during the sales process.
  • Product Development: Work with the engineering team to ensure products meet customer requirements and provide feedback for product improvements.
  • Problem Solving: Help clients solve problems with product usage and recommend new and improved products.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to provide insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical sales role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of power supply solutions and related products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed and attend relevant trade shows (about 50%)
