The Revenue Transaction Coordinator enthusiastically represents SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment by displaying a positive attitude, maintaining a high level of energy, and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.
What you get to do: The Revenue Transaction Coordinator is responsible to perform all daily, weekly, and monthly Revenue Transaction duties, including, but not limited to: revenue transaction input, filing, Over/Short reconciliation report creation and review. This role is responsible for the receipt of funds from guests and team members and recording of monetary transactions. You will also:
- Assist with issuance and balancing of entitlement products
- Prepare daily deposit(s) including miscellaneous debit and credit transactions
- Collect daily paperwork and receivables from throughout the park
- Identify, resolve and report discrepancies
- Green tagging reverse ATMs and troubleshooting issues
- Assist with back-office ticket printing responsibilities
- Ensure excellent customer (internal & external) service by responding to customer requirements, expectations and needs
- Assist with special projects in the Finance department as needed such as merchandise and culinary inventory recounting and verification
- Occasionally assist other locations and areas throughout the park as needed
- Perform all cleaning duties, including the use of cleaning chemicals
- Other duties as assigned
What it takes to succeed: - At least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or GED, pursuit of college degree preferred
- 1-2 years related experience and/or training is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel applications
- Strong basic math skills using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills
- Able to write effective business correspondence
- Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to manage time wisely and set priorities effectively
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Able to work shifts that start at 7:00 am
- Able to regularly use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, sometimes above head, handle, feel, stoop or kneel
- Able to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand, sit and/or kneel for prolonged periods of time
- Able to positively interact with park guests and co-workers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or language, and individuals with special needs
- Able to work indoors and in outside weather conditions (i.e., direct sunlight, wet and/or humid)
