Job Description

The Quarry Manager coordinates efforts with management in the planning, organizing, and scheduling activities of the employees working in the mine and aggregate crushing operations to produce cost-effective aggregates, according to quality control specifications and mine and plant production goals. The position exercises direct and indirect supervision of a medium group of employees involved in initial extraction of aggregates materials for further processing at the facilities pulverized limestone operations. The candidate will be an experienced miner that is fluent in the aspects of the mining and production processes.

This quarry contains known high-quality limestone reserves. This plant has an annual capacity of approximately 470 thousand tons of quicklime from two pre-heater kilns. The plant also has the ability to produce hydrated lime that can be shipped in bulk or 50 pound bags. The annual production capacity for pulverized limestone is 800 thousand tons .
