JOB TITLE (#2938): Psychiatrist / Nursing Homes / Travel - NY City Area

Board Certified or Board Eligible

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Psychiatrist to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in New York City

Responsibilities of the Psychiatrist:

• Assess patients through interviews, observations, tests, and medical history reviews.
• Diagnose patients accurately.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans and prescribe medication as needed.
• Consult with other medical professionals and psychologists. Regularly following up with the patient to check progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed.
• Thoroughly document each patient's diagnosis, symptoms, medication, treatment effectiveness, etc.
• Provide patients with emotional support and strategies to help manage their disorder. Researching new developments in psychiatry and mental health.

Requirements

• Must have an active NY State License

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Position involves travel to Nursing Homes across mainly the 5 boroughs of NY. A driver will be provided.
