Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician Assistant job at CURAtive Smithfield, NC, US

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Physician Assistant to join our inpatient care team. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with adult patients in a well-established setting. Practice Setting Inpatient practice setting Support staff includes 1 MD and 3-4 APPs per weekday, 1 MD and 2 APPs on weekends, social workers, security, and hospital staff Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 2 weeknight call shifts per week

Cases and Procedures Primarily adult patients with complex mental health conditions, including bipolar disorder and schizophrenia

Inpatient rounding and patient care

Requirements Minimum of 24 months of experience Licensed in North Carolina ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications Travel and Lodging Travel and lodging accommodations are provided JN -4 CURAtive
