Product Designer - Fintech AI Platform Location: New York City / San Francisco

Office Type: Hybrid (In-person in NYC and SF)
Salary: $170k - $220k + 1.0% - 1.5% Equity

What You Will Do - Lead end-to-end design processes across multiple concurrent projects, from ideation to launch
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, sales, and compliance teams to iterate on designs
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate solutions
- Simplify complex tasks through thoughtful design, making sophisticated AI functionality approachable
- Pioneer new AI product experiences-designing interfaces for complex agents and guided workflows
- Introduce modern design patterns to enterprise customers while ensuring accessibility and usability
- Build and maintain a lean design system that empowers the product team to move quickly
- Work directly with the founding team to shape product direction and design culture
- Help disrupt trillion-dollar industries through innovative AI applications
Ideal Candidate Background - 2-7 years of product design experience at venture-funded companies
- Strong background in visual/interaction design, UX/UI, branding, and typography
- Proven track record shipping high-quality enterprise software products
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-agency environments
- Ability to execute quickly amid ambiguity to deliver meaningful outcomes
- Excellence in balancing detailed craftsmanship with strategic thinking
- Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in B2B environments
- Familiarity with AI and LLM applications
Preferred Qualifications - Early employee experience at a high-growth startup
- Frontend engineering/CSS capabilities-ability to implement designs
- Experience with financial services or regulated industries
- Experience at design-forward organizations serving businesses (similar to Stripe, Linear, Ramp, etc.)
Compensation & Benefits - Competitive salary: $170,000 - $220,000
