We are seeking a creative and strategic Product Designer for a 3 month contract to help shape the future of our AI-driven financial automation platform. In this role, you'll collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to craft seamless, data-rich experiences for our users. You will play a crucial role in designing intuitive user interfaces that simplify financial workflows and empower clients to make smarter, data-driven decisions.

What You'll Do:

Own the end-to-end design process , from research and wireframing to high-fidelity UI and prototyping.

Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and refine product experiences.

Design financial dashboards and data-heavy interfaces that make complex financial data accessible and actionable.

Work closely with engineering to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs and a smooth user experience.

Develop and maintain a scalable design system to create consistency across our platform.

Stay ahead of industry trends in fintech, AI, and UX/UI best practices , applying them to Open Ledger's evolving product.

What We're Looking For:
• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI or Product Design, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or data-heavy applications.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools .
• Experience designing financial applications, dashboards, or workflow automation tools .
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility, and data visualization .
• Ability to translate complex financial workflows into simple, intuitive experiences.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with engineers and stakeholders.

Bonus Points If You Have:

+ Experience designing AI-powered fintech products .

+ Understanding of regulatory compliance (AML, KYC, GDPR) and security considerations in financial applications.

+ Knowledge of blockchain, DeFi, or embedded finance solutions.

+ Experience working with APIs and financial integrations (e.g., Plaid, QuickBooks).
