Job Title: Purchasing Specialist

Location: Boca Raton, FL

Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 per year

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Purchasing Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of ingredients and packaging materials, maintaining accurate purchasing documentation, and fostering strong vendor relationships. This position plays a key role in supporting just-in-time manufacturing and ensuring operational efficiency within a contract manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and process purchase orders using inventory and management systems.
• Source and qualify new suppliers and vendors for raw materials and components.
• Negotiate pricing and purchasing terms to optimize cost and quality.
• Ensure compliance with technical documentation, customer requirements, and facility standards.
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle from order placement to delivery.
• Coordinate logistics to maintain proper inventory levels of hundreds of items.
• Maintain and adjust minimum inventory thresholds to support production demands.
• Support audits and compliance initiatives as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• High attention to detail with a strong focus on operational efficiency.
• Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
