Job Description:

• Serve legal documents to residences and corporations according to Federal, State and Local laws within the county where you reside.
• File and record legal documents at the courthouse, recorder's office
• Scan completed documents daily.
• Provide status and photos for each attempt on all cases through smart phone apps
• Edit/print proof of service from our process server case management software.

Successful candidates will possess the following skills and attributes:

• The ability to locate addresses within the county where you live.
• The ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner to a wide variety of people.
• Extreme attention to detail and understand that handing the paper to someone is only a small part of a successful service.
• Have common sense!

Have a desire to work variable hours according to your own schedule but to include attempting at least one attempt in the early mornings, mid-day and evening. Understanding that most people are available on the weekends and evening times and attempting during a time when someone is most likely to be at home.

Have your own reliable transportation, auto insurance, driver’s license, phone, printer and smart phone with access to the internet.

Be comfortable using a mobile app and communication via email through the app.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from High School or G.E.D.
• Valid Driver's License, no criminal history except for minor traffic infractions or other minor misdemeanors.
• Pass a background check and have never been convicted of a felony and/or various misdemeanors.

Salary: You are paid per service on a monthly basis via direct deposit to your checking account.

Job Status: Part-Time as an Independent Contractor not as an Employee

Work Location:

• Fully remote and on the road

Typical start time:

• 7 to 8AM

Typical end time:

• 8 pm or sooner shortly after dark but not late at night.
