We are currently seeking a meticulous Process Mechanical Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the seamless functioning of our mechanical systems. The Process Mechanical Quality Assurance Specialist will play a crucial role in overseeing and guaranteeing the impeccable quality of mechanical processes and installations across our construction projects. We are looking for an individual with a solid mechanical engineering background, a keen eye for quality assurance, and a thorough understanding of construction practices.

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive quality assurance plans and processes to ensure strict adherence to project specifications, codes, and standards. 
  • Carry out regular field inspections and oversight of testing on mechanical systems, equipment, and materials, including HVAC systems, piping, pumps, and other essential components. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, tests, and any corrective actions taken. 
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality discrepancies and the corresponding corrective measures. 
  • Collaborate closely with construction teams, engineers, and project managers to swiftly address and resolve any quality issues that may arise 
  • Coordinate effectively with subcontractors and vendors as required. 
  • Provide comprehensive training and guidance to construction personnel on quality standards and best practices to ensure strict adherence to quality assurance protocols.
  • Identify and resolve quality-related issues and non-conformities promptly to uphold project timelines and uphold the highest quality standards. 
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to continually enhance quality processes and overall project outcomes. 

     

Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field experience. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in quality assurance within the construction industry. 
  • Profound understanding of mechanical systems, construction practices, and relevant codes and standards. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. 
  • Proficient in utilizing QA tools and software.
