We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing/HVAC Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve plumbing, HVAC, and gas-related issues for both residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical skill set, excellent customer service abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Identify and resolve plumbing, HVAC, and gas issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Service & Repair: Perform maintenance, repairs, and replacements on HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and gas systems.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate clearly with customers to assess needs, explain services, and ensure customer satisfaction. Provide honest, accurate estimates for work.
  • Installation: Install new HVAC systems, plumbing systems, water heaters, and related components when necessary.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, including invoices, work orders, and diagnostic reports.
  • Service Vehicle: Based on experience, a company service vehicle may be provided for job-related travel.
  • Emergency Service: Respond to after-hours calls and emergency service requests as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Plumbing or HVAC Service Technician, or a combination of both, is required. Gas technician certification is a plus.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid plumbing, HVAC, or gas certifications/licenses as required by local/state regulations.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and gas lines. Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide range of issues.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first attitude.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (if company vehicle is provided).
