Position : Plant Controller
Location : Jacksonville, IL
Compensation : $130,000 - $140,000 annually + bonus eligibility.

About the Role :
As the Plant Controller, you’ll be the financial backbone of our manufacturing plant, acting as the CFO to oversee the plant’s financial operations. You’ll manage the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flows while providing insightful recommendations to enhance operational performance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee financial operations of the plant and provide strategic direction to the leadership team.
• Manage the month-end close process and conduct financial reviews with management to ensure accurate financial results.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, internal controls, and lead responses to internal audit findings.
• Develop the annual plan, quarterly forecasts, and standard costing.
• Lead capital investment efforts and build the analytics needed for strong ROI proposals.
• Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
• Collaborate closely with plant leadership to align on long-term goals and business strategies.

Qualifications :

• Required :
• BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting
• 7-10 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounting, with at least 5 years in a Plant Controller role
• Strong systems capabilities, including ERP (SAP a plus), Hyperion, Microsoft Office, and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
• Curious, analytical mindset with a drive for continuous improvement

• Preferred :
• MBA
• CPA or CMA
• Prior supervisory experience
