About Highlands Medical Center

• Average Daily Census: 16
• ICU Beds: 10
• Staffing Model:
  • Physician and APP team
  • 12-hour physician day-shift, telemedicine for night coverage
• EMR: Meditech
• Strong hospital leadership and collaborative Integrated Acute Care team (emergency and hospital medicine service lines also managed by USACS)
• Highlands Medical Center is a non-profit arm of Jackson County Health Care Authority (JCHCA). They are the only hospital in Jackson County serving approximately 54,000 residents.

• 92 staffed beds; including 10 specialty care
