Physical Security Engineer Duration: 12 months plus (possible extension or conversion) Location: HYBRID W/ ONSITE REQUIREMENT - 2 days onsite Tampa, FL 33610 Knowledge of security and systems as well as a background in code development and information security o Access Control Systems (Salient, Honeywell Pro-watch) o CCTV Systems (Salient, Verint, Honeywell) o Intrusion Detection Systems (DMP) o Life Safety Systems Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Systems or Information Security) or equivalent working experience preferred. Up to five years or more experience in an engineering role Thorough understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Unix Ability to package in Windows or UNIX (including Linux) Code development (.NET, SQL) experience - and the ability to rapidly take on new languages as necessary. Good understanding of Information Security and industry best practices CISSP or other security related certifications are desirable. Knowledge of PKI security concepts, Active Directory, and MS SQL Knowledge of the project management life cycle (requirements gathering, project skills) The candidate should have excellent communication and influencing skills. Organizational and project management skills required.
