Job Details

We are hiring a full-time salaried plaintiff personal injury paralegal to join our team in Midtown Manhattan, NYC. The ideal candidate has at least 2+ years as a paralegal with a personal injury firm; trial experience is a big plus!

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all stages of case management, from inception to trial.
• Help maintain positive client relations through strong communication and professional conduct.
• Draft and prepare summons and complaints, bills of particular, discovery demands and responses, and motions.
• Prepare and organize materials needed for court appearances, pleadings, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Obtain necessary authorizations for medical records as well as the medical records.
• Provide general administrative support to the attorneys and perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications. Experience with Filevine is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining case information.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Education and/or Experience
• At least 4 years’ experience as a plaintiff personal injury litigation paralegal; experience working with trial attorney is a huge plus!
• Associate’s degree required but Bachelor’s degree is preferred; Paralegal Certification is a plus!
