The Performance Psychologist and Organizational Development Coach will be the architect of our team's journey, driving strategic insights and leadership to enhance operational processes and support team performance. Your innovative approach to team engagement and service will be instrumental in developing processes that exceed expectations, ensuring that Sweet James continues to lead in personal injury law with compassion, respect, and unparalleled legal service. What you'll do: Cross-Organizational Collaboration/Unlocking Potential: Engage with all levels of the organization, including executives, to facilitate change and growth. Use your expertise in psychology to uncover and address roadblocks, helping teams and leaders run the organization optimally. By identifying performance barriers and implementing strategic interventions, you will unlock the full potential of individuals and teams. Your role is crucial in optimizing performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring the organization operates at its highest efficiency. This involves working closely with various departments to align their goals with the company's overarching objectives, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach to organizational development. Performance Coaching: Regularly check in with teams to review progress, provide feedback, and implement strategies to overcome obstacles. This includes a blend of psychological support and practical exercises. Team Alignment on Revenue Goals: Optimize the alignment of all teams with revenue goals, ensuring effective management of a large and dynamic team structure, and addressing any existing challenges, ensuring no team is left behind. Pipeline Management: Enable teams to develop and implement strategies to manage and optimize their pipeline (currently, hundreds of team members across 45 teams), ensuring teams stay on track and meet their KPIs. Strategic and Organizational Development: Help teams set and achieve long-term goals, ensuring their current activities contribute to future success. Foster a strategic mindset and organizational alignment. Psychological Support and Empowerment: Address psychological barriers to performance, offering one-on-one coaching, workshops, and other forms of support to help team members realize their potential. Talent Attraction and Development: Create a positive and growth-oriented culture to attract new talent and empower existing teams, fostering professional maturity and leadership development. What we're looking for: Experience: At least 10+ years in performance coaching, organizational development, or a related field, with at least 5+ years in an executive-level leadership or coaching role, preferably in a legal setting. Educational Background: Master’s or PhD in Psychology (preferably clinical, counseling, or industrial-organizational psychology), or an MBA with a focus on organizational behavior, leadership, or strategy. Certifications: Candidates with certifications such as Certified Professional Coach (CPC), Certified Performance Technologist (CPT), Certified Organizational Development Professional (CODP), Licensed Psychologist, or Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) are strong candidates. These certifications demonstrate a high level of expertise and commitment to the field, but we welcome applicants with other relevant certifications and experience as well. Tangible Results : Someone who can point to bottom-line improvements to the revenue, profitability %, net new clients, or similar metrics, tied back to the organizational development and change management efforts. Skills and Expertise: Strong understanding of performance psychology and its application in a corporate environment, enhancing team effectiveness and performance improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective mentoring, workshop facilitation, and fostering teamwork. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive business development and leadership development. Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics to support people development and business coaching. Expertise in change management, team building, and optimizing organizational dynamics to ensure sustained success.
