Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Email & SMS Performance Copywriter to own the editorial calendar and craft compelling, high-converting copy for our promotional, performance, and flow-based email and SMS campaigns. This role will collaborate closely with the Associate CRM Director to strategically plan and execute campaigns that drive engagement, retention, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and optimize high-performing email and SMS copy for promotional campaigns, product launches, and retention flows.
• Own the editorial calendar for email and SMS, ensuring a strategic and cohesive content cadence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the creative team to develop campaign assets, providing clear creative direction.
• Analyze performance data and iterate on copy to improve engagement, conversion rates, and customer retention.
• Ensure brand consistency across all communications, maintaining Pique’s authoritative and luxurious tone.
• Stay resourceful —actively research trends, competitor strategies, and performance insights to refine messaging.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience writing direct-response emails and SMS copy, preferably in DTC, wellness, or beauty.
• Proven track record of driving engagement and revenue through strategic email & SMS marketing.
• Strong understanding of conversion copywriting and customer psychology.
• Experience working with Klaviyo or similar ESPs to develop and optimize campaigns.
• Highly resourceful, data-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

• Proven expertise in conversion-focused copywriting for email and SMS marketing.
• Strong storytelling skills that drive action and align with Pique’s brand voice.
• Ability to plan, execute, and optimize email and SMS campaigns with a strategic mindset.
• Experience working with Klaviyo or similar ESPs to develop and analyze campaigns.
• Basic knowledge of A/B testing and performance metrics to refine messaging.
• Self-sufficient and highly resourceful , with the ability to seek out new ideas and solutions independently.
