Children's Therapy Services of Colorado, Inc. is a multi-disciplinary (ST, OT, PT and ABA) outpatient clinic located in Northglenn, CO. We provide in clinic therapy, in addition to in-home Early Intervention services. Our team is bonded by our love of children and our commitment to making the lives of others better. Position:

The primary responsibility of the Pediatric Occupational Therapist is to serve children, birth to early adolescence, diagnosed with a variety of congenital, developmental, neurological or acquired disorders/delays. The ideal candidate will assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to help children build the functional skills they need for daily living, play, and academic success.

This role requires creativity, adaptability, and a deep understanding of childhood development and sensory integration, in addition to strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to support children in achieving their goals. The position will be based at our clinic in Northglenn and may also include working with families of children 0-3 years old in homes through Early Intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

· Evaluate and treat children with developmental, physical, sensory, and cognitive needs.

· Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions in individual and group settings.

· Educate and coach families on techniques to support development and progress towards goals

· Create individualized therapy plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care tasks (e.g., dressing, feeding), visual-motor integration, and play-based goals.

· Use therapeutic activities to improve functional independence in daily routines and school readiness.

· Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals including CTSC’s own multi-disciplinary team of speech therapists, physical therapists, and BCBA’s; in addition to pediatricians and educators.

· Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports.

· Provide early intervention services and participate in Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) meetings when applicable.

· Stay current with research and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.

Required License and Certification:

· Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

· Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Colorado

· Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

· CPR and First Aid Certification-required by start date

Qualifications and Skills:

· Experience working with pediatric populations, including autistic children and those with diagnoses including, but not limited to, down syndrome, sensory processing disorder, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, and ADHD.

· Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage children, families and other therapists effectively.

· Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of children.

· Comfort working in a fast-paced and dynamic pediatric environment.

· Spanish speaking preferred, but not required

· Feeding experience preferred, but not required

Compensation: 

OT:$86,000 - $105,000+ (no cap) - Salary + Monthly Bonus

OTA: $55,000-$65,000+ (no cap)- Salary + Monthly Bonus

Working Environment and Physical Requirements:

· Frequent engagement with children ages birth to 18, including those with behavioral or sensory challenges. Involves working on the floor, using swings, obstacle courses, therapy balls, and sensory-rich environments.

· Ability to stand, walk, and move frequently throughout the workday.

· Frequent bending, squatting, crawling, and sitting on the floor to engage at a child’s level.

· Must be able to lift and carry infants and young children when necessary.

· Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations, to children in distress or during physical challenges.

· Exposure to noise, movement, and active play within therapy sessions.

· Occasional travel between office and home settings

· Adherence to infection control measures to limit exposure to illness.

Allergen Exposure Considerations:

· Potential exposure to common food allergens, including but not limited to peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, wheat, fish, and shellfish, within the clinic and homes as children may bring snacks or consume formula or breast milk.

· Employees must follow strict hand hygiene and infection control protocols

· Contact with various therapy materials (e.g., play dough, foam, latex, cleaning products) that may trigger allergic reactions.

· Possible exposure to pet dander or environmental allergens if working in home-based settings.

· Team members must follow strict hygiene protocols and be aware of individual patient allergies.
