We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a PC Technician in the scientific instrument manufacturing industry. Located in Brecksville, Ohio, this role involves a variety of technical duties including hardware and software installations, computer setups, and end-user support.

Responsibilities:
• Installation and configuration of computer hardware and software systems
• Providing technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring efficient operation of approximately 250 PCs
• Regular system checks and optimization for performance efficiency
• Management of customer inquiries and providing appropriate solutions
• Maintenance of accurate records of all relevant activities and tasks
• Proactive monitoring of customer accounts and taking necessary actions as required
• Ensuring all systems are operating in line with industry standards and protocols
• Utilizing skills in Linux Technologies, Database, and Dell Technologies to ensure smooth operations
• Implementation of backup technologies and cable installations as necessary
• Active Directory management and support for Apple Devices• Proficiency in Computer Hardware and Database management
• Familiarity with Dell Technologies
• Knowledge of EO/IR systems
• Experience with Linux Technologies
• Ability to conduct AB Testing
• Proficiency in Active Directory
• Experience with Apple Devices
• Knowledge of Backup Technologies
• Ability to perform Cable Installation
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with the Scientific Instrument Manufacturing industry
• Attention to detail and precision in work.
