This is not a seasonal position.Qual Chem Corporation distribution Center located in Chula Vista, CA. Serving the industrial community since 1984 We are looking for a warehouse worker & or Shift Leader to join our team. Warehouse worker responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders creating invoices The goal is to increase efficiency, accuracy and profitability. This position is 6 hours a week . There is not more hours available.

Warehouse assit $18 to start hr Max 6hrs weekly We are only open Tues And Thurs 3-6

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Must be computer Literate
• Quickbooks knowledge is a plus
• Must have transportation
• Must have a cell phone
• Steel Toe Shoes
• Must pass background Check
• Training Scedule Shift avail. Tuesdays/Thursdays 3-6
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Complete diary logs into inventory
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain preventively reliable forklift (need for certification)
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Utilize information technology to improve processes and reduce errors
• Maintain records of goods shipped or received

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a warehouse worker (preferred)
• Experience in order picking/packaging/shipping/inventory control preferred

Salary: $18.00 to start per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week
