Part-Time Kitchen Food Prep and Dishwashing /Kitchen cleaning

Location: Tiny Green Trees Nature Based Childcare Center & Forest School

921 N. 49th Street Milwaukee WI 53208

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 11:30-4:30 and Thursday 8am-4:30 pm

Compensation: $15-$16

Tiny Green Trees is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Cleaning & Housekeeping Assistant to help maintain a clean and organized school environment. This role focuses on kitchen cleaning and general housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary space for students and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen surfaces, sinks, and appliances
• Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Taking out trash and recycling from kitchen and common areas
• Light housekeeping, including wiping tables, sweeping, and mopping, vacuum
• Handling laundry tasks such as washing, drying, and folding linens
• Restocking kitchen and cleaning supplies as needed throughout the building
• Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed efficiently before closing

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning, housekeeping, or kitchen experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Comfortable working in a school environment
• Must pass a background check
• Must be minimum age 17
