In this key role, you will be responsible for preparing and\ndispensing many types of pharmaceuticals to fulfill orders in the inpatient\npharmacies. You will float between\nmedication reconciliation and inpatient pharmacy departments to ensure\nseamless and efficient medication management. You\nwill collaborate closely with other members of the health care team to help\nprevent inappropriate or misuse of medications. Adhering to departmental\npolicies and procedures, you will deliver a wide range of clinical services\n(e.g., pharmacokinetic dosing, therapeutic interchange, IV/PO conversions, TPN\nper pharmacy, pharmacist interventions).

Schedule: Varied shifts, depending on department needs,\nincluding weekends and holidays. This role will require you to float to\nmultiple areas within the Pharmacy department.

Hourly\nSalary Range: $85.87 - $100.58 (Union\nrepresented, step based salary depending on years of experience)

Bargaining\nUnit: HX-UPTE

Qualifications

We’re seeking a dedicated clinical professional with:

  • Pharm D. degree and current CA Pharmacy license (required).
  • ASHP-accredited residency (preferred).
  • 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience (highly preferred).
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform age specific and disease specific pharmacokinetic calculations.
  • Ability to compound intravenous admixtures and other sterile products
