Job Responsibilities

Job Summary
Lincoln Electric is seeking a dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. This position involves painting CNC machines and supporting general shop operations. No prior experience is required—just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Training will be provided.

 

Key Responsibilities
• Apply protective coatings using brush, roller, or spray methods to machinery, equipment, and structures

• Prepare surfaces and apply finishes following safety and quality standards

• Demonstrate working knowledge of various paints, solvents, and application techniques
• Assist with general shop duties including crating, assembly, and other tasks as needed
• Interpret and execute verbal instructions to complete painting and shop assignments
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety standards
• Provide guidance and training to team members as required
• Support other departments and adapt to changing workloads as necessary

Preferred Skills

• Experience in industrial painting or related field

• Familiarity with surface preparation and coating application processes

• Experience as a rigger or in general shop work

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration, airborne particles, and machine lubricants and chemicals used in manufacturing processes. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
