LOCATION DESCRIPTION:
Nestled on the Central California Coast, Adventist Health Sierra Vista has been providing care to our community since 1959. Our 162-bed acute care facility includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and county designated trauma center. POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the planning, training, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance of the Picture Archiving and Communications (PACS) as well as the Radiology Information System (RIS) 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Responsible for developing, maintaining, and operation of the printing f Management Reports which indicate specific staff productivity and quality assurance. May be asked to provide quality assurance input on staff performance and provide input on staff quality for annual performance evaluations. Responsible for the supervision of PACS and RIS users and access. Responsible for developing training outlines for both physicians and staff, and competency assessments of the end users. Will provide technical and customer support for medical staff physicians. Works with vendors and provides coverage for "go live" or update dates. Coordinates and is responsible for security of the system. Works with information systems in researching and analyzing concerns/issues to recommend problem resolutions. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or directed.
