REGULAR SCHEDULE: MON-FRI

1st shift 6:00am - 3:00pm

2nd shift 2:00pm - 11:00 pm

TEMP POSITION FOR MORE THAN 2 MONTH

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an Overhead Crane Operator at a highly respected Tile industry responsible for receiving, and processing inbound merchandise to accurately store, and routing of finished goods to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 1) Operates traveling or stationary overhead crane to lift, move, and position loads, such as machinery, equipment, products, and solid or bulk materials, using hoisting attachments, such as hook, sling, electromagnet, or bucket: Observes load hookup and determines the safety of load
• 2) Manipulates or depresses crane controls, such as pedals, levers, and buttons, to regulate the speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.
• 3) Cleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanism.

JOB SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Safely operates machinery in order to complete tasks.
• Must be able to plan effectively.
• Must be capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
• Must be comfortable with heights!
• Must possess good organizational ability and communication skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented.
• Must be able to work overtime and any shift assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Flexible with hours and assignments of other relevant duties.
• Warehouse equipment knowledge: Overhead Crane Operator
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with the use of WMS preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds.
• One year of distribution experience is preferred.
