Our client is an innovative, well-established building products manufacturer, distributor and installer of high-end windows and doors. Through a long line of success partnering and providing exceptional service to the single-family builder/contractors and end users, they have created significant demand and are growing their presence in the northern Washington market. They are proud to be the first choice for customers and employees alike within this fast-paced sector across the Pacific Northwest region. They are currently looking to add highly motivated and proactive Outside Territory Sales Consultant to join their growing team in the Greater Seattle region, as well in the Bellingham market.

We are searching for highly motivated individuals who can provide exceptional client service that have a track record of success in outside sales within the building products segment. A driven professional willing to go that extra mile to crush targets and deliver results. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, building, and maintaining relationships with new & existing clients, assessing their needs, making product recommendations, as well as providing sound product knowledge and consultation. The primary target clients are single family builders, residential contractors (renovation space) and project managers. We are looking for competitive, go-getters! Someone motivated to drive sales and earn big commissions through results!!

Responsibilities:

  • Develops positive on-going relationships with Single-Family Residential Builders, Contractors, and Property Management groups.
  • Ability to manage, grow, and maximize the returns in a defined territory or market focus.
  • Focus on selling value, while promoting the organization's competitive advantages within a competitive construction marketplace
  • Provide clients with product knowledge and specifications
  • Maintain a high-profile level within the industry by actively participating in industry associations and events within your territory
  • Carry out a variety of educational activities to promote the company and products
  • Create and implement local marketing and sales promotions

Requirements:

  • Post Secondary preferred in sales, marketing, business or equivalent
  • 2+ years outside sales experience within building products, industrial wholesale, or B2B construction settings.
  • Previous experience selling/working with single-family builders, or contactors is a major asset (and highly sought after) by our client
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills including presentation skills.
  • Experience with working independently and as part of a team. Team engagement is a must!
  • Must have a sense of urgency, drive, and ambition
  • Excellent communication and follow up skill.
  • Hungry for performance based income – big earning potential for results
  • Ability to network within the builder market and build a solid reputation for lead generation through multiple referral steams
