Salary Range: The beginning salary range for this position is Range C-25, (Steps 1-3) $94,875.61 - $104,618.20

Position Overview
Perform duties related to organization development (OD) and transformation, team design, as well as optimization in order to align systems, processes and structures to achieve the vision, mission and strategic objectives of the College. Interpret, analyze, and make recommendations that improve efficiency of division to benefit adult learners. Coordinate meetings, internal planning and development sessions. Serve as a subject matter expert for workforce team policies and procedures.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
The duties below are representative of the role and are not intended to cover all of the duties performed within the scope of work.
- Implements OD intervention initiatives, change management / strategies and techniques to build organization alignment. Facilitates the implementation of such changes.
- Produces periodic progress reports on the implementation of the initiatives and partnerships undertaken by division
- Studies the organization's philosophy, strategy and the effect of new technology on the structures, which govern critical processes and guide strategic policies.
- Participates in the organization's strategic planning and facilitates in-house planning that ensures implementation of key goals.
- Proactively addresses and responds to OD issues by bringing key stakeholders together to assess root causes and performance gaps, implementing and /or supporting implementation of appropriate interventions, including strategic planning, tactical and project planning, facilitation, instruction, program design, materials development and performance analysis.
- Gives advice and develops interventions about impacts resulting from whole organization change (ie. Specific project etc)
- Provides project management support in partnership with project manager for organization- wide projects/ initiatives as required, facilitating team efforts and helping to define project goals, timelines, resource requirements and planning to cope with conflict or stressor points in the plans.
- Consults with leadership regarding strategic planning sessions for groups to clarify, communicate and act upon the vision and goals of their unit within the context of the college’s mission and values.
- Perform other related duties as assigned that support the objective of the position.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic Internet research techniques
- Skilled coordinating a variety of projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve and exercise good judgment with minimal supervision
- Communicates effectively and persuasively in both oral and written format; speak in large and small group settings; prepare and analyze comprehensive reports; conduct meetings.

Minimum Qualifications
- Baccalaureate Degree in relevant field preferred (i.e., urban planning, business administration, human resources, marketing, social services, education/training)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in economic development, workforce development or related field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with developing partnerships and/or coordinating employment opportunities
- Experience working with or in the public workforce development system
- Three or more years of responsible administrative experience in the private or public sectors dealing with the public in the areas of workforce development or a closely related field.
- Relationship management experience
- Experience with analyzing economic and labor market data
Working Conditions and Travel
- Calbright College is a statewide online college where all instruction and support are done via various online technologies both in person and remotely. Calbright College has administrative offices in Sacramento available for use. When working remotely, employees should be able and willing to use digital communication tools as used by the college, and have the ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time.

- Requires the ability to function in a remote online instructional environment performing work of primarily a sedentary nature. Requires the ability to use hearing and speech to make presentations to groups and carry on conversations over the phone and in-person. Requires speaking skills to communicate with staff and students in one-on-one and small group settings, on the phone, and to distinguish sound prompts from various types of equipment. Requires near visual acuity to read printed materials and computer screens. Requires sufficient hand/arm/finger dexterity to retrieve work materials, operate a personal computer keyboard, and operate standard office equipment. Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Work is performed indoors where minimal safety considerations exist.
