Position purpose:
Provide direct management and support of our e-commerce Casa de Fruta Marketplace. This role requires knowledge of e-commerce and digital marketing, preferably in Wine
and Consumer Goods space. Will use best practices to promote and build our virtual Fruit Stand, Wine Club, and future clubs. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of specialty retail
merchandise and wine club software, strong verbal and written communication skills, and experience with a variety of communication tools including printed material, websites, social media, etc.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
• Partner with creative services/web development to maintain and enhance product titles, descriptions, categorization, and keywords for optimal performance, improving page rank and sales
• Promote and identify niche products & trends; optimize exposure to increase engagement and improve customer conversion rate.
• Facilitate new promotions and campaigns. Create programs to increase and retain ecommerce customers and club membership.
• Monitor and analyze product performance, product rankings, and customer reviews
• Report weekly and monthly on metrics including top-line metrics, sales, conversion rates, traffic and customer satisfaction for eCommerce strategies and the brand.
• Continually identify and evaluate new opportunities for better product listing optimization.
• Process marketplace orders and inventory transfers in ERP.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service support in response to all customer service inquiries.
• Provides performance and sales reporting on a weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc basis
• Oversees day-to-day operations for the Wine Club and
maintains database through regularly updating account information, cancellation requests and shipping inquiries.
• Perform accounting related functions, such as cash receipts and deposits, as needed.
• Manage inter-company transfers between businesses.
Qualifications:
• Customer Service experience is required.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products, such as Word and Excel are required.
• Experience with e-commerce, merchandising, and marketplace management.
• Experience with ERP and compliance software such as Nexternal & ShipCompliant is a plus.
• Experience with DtC and club management is desired. Wine industry is a plus.
Preferences: College courses in business related field (sales, marketing, hospitality).
