We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data in our systems. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage large volumes of information efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter and update data into company databases and systems accurately and efficiently.
Verify data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all information is correct and up to date.
Perform regular data reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Organize and maintain electronic and physical files to ensure easy access and retrieval.
Prepare and sort documents for data entry.
Handle confidential information with discretion and adhere to privacy regulations.
Assist with generating reports and other documentation as required.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Perform basic administrative duties as needed, such as filing, scanning, and photocopying.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in data entry or related fields is a plus.
Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar administrative role.
Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with database software.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with data entry software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Experience with data management tools and spreadsheet formulas.
Basic knowledge of accounting or finance may be beneficial.
Working Conditions:
