Job Title: Office Furniture Installer

Reports Directly To: Operations Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Office Furniture Installer to join our moving team. The ideal candidate will have experience in furniture assembly, installation, and setup. The Office FurnitureInstaller will be responsible for ensuring that furniture and other items are properly installed and assembled at the customer’s new location, providing a high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Assembly:
  • Assemble and install furniture, fixtures, and equipment at customer locations.
  • Ensure that all items are properly and securely installed according to manufacturer instructions and company standards.
  • Handle and install various types of furniture, including modular office systems, home furniture, and specialty items.
  • Customer Interaction:
  • Communicate with customers to understand their installation needs and preferences.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure a positive and satisfactory customer experience during the installation process.
  • Safety and Quality:
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct quality checks on all assembled and installed items to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Report any defects, damages, or issues to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with moving and logistics teams to coordinate installation schedules and activities.
  • Assist with loading and unloading items from trucks as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of installations.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, including customer information, items installed, and any issues encountered.
  • Complete and submit installation reports and documentation as required.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving installation processes and customer satisfaction.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy items and perform manual labor tasks.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in furniture assembly, installation, or a related field.
