Occupational Therapist - School Based at Supplemental Health Care summary:

As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you evaluate and support students' therapy needs according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborating with school staff and guardians to promote student well-being. You develop and implement therapeutic and educational programs, maintain records, and may supervise assistants while traveling between school locations. This role requires an Illinois Occupational Therapist license and focuses on pediatric and school settings to enhance students' functional abilities within educational environments.

We’re currently hiring in Roselle, Illinois to support a school district in need of Occupational Therapists.

School-Based Occupational Therapist Contract Details:

• $46 – $50 per hour
• 41-week contracts
• $3,000 assignment bonus available *conditions apply; ask recruiter for details
• Develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results
• Evaluates students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services
• Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward student goals
• Work collaboratively and communicate with school interdisciplinary team and student guardians
• Schedule follows the school district calendar
• Will provide occupational therapy services according to student IEP
• Assigned schools may include various grade levels
• May be asked to travel between school locations
• May be asked to supervise assistants

Requirements:

• Illinois Occupational Therapist License
• American Heart Association BLS
• Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required
