The Role: Fulltime with Cognizant
· Role: Object Oriented Perl Developer
· Location: Austin, TX
Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for “ Object Oriented Perl Developer @ Austin, TX ” to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. If you meet our background requirements and skills and are looking for an opportunity with these skills and expertise, here is the ideal opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
· 8+ years of experience in development with Primarily Object-Oriented Perl, Typescript, Angular, Node is a positive
· Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Object Oriented Perl CGI Perl.
· Good SQL and Database knowledge is necessary.
· Participate in DSU (Daily Scrum calls / Agile based)
· Pick up development task,
· Clarify as needed with various teams (Product/BA, QA, Technical Project Manager, etc)
· Complete and deliver the solution (Dev Effort Completion)
· Support QA during test phase as well as coordinate with offshore developers when needed
· Experience in the Cards and Payments domain is a plus
Must Have Skills:
· Primarily Object-Oriented Perl development
· SQL and Database knowledge
· Typescript
· Angular JS
· Node JS is a positive.

Salary and Other Compensation :
The annual salary for this position depends on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
