Who You Are: At the Analyst-Level, you will be expected to contribute to the development of recommendations, business knowledge and technology awareness, provide meaningful input into client deliverables/proposals, and take ownership of assigned tasks. You will conduct research, collect data, and perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to support business solutions. Most importantly, you will embrace our firm's brand and core values. Role and Responsibilities: You may work on various projects throughout your career with Excelacom. The roles and responsibilities noted below pertain to the specific role listed above. Troubleshoots and resolves escalated Access and CPE device field issues. Performs assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps. Establishes security, connectivity and access parameters. Provides recommendations to optimize network infrastructure. Tests and tunes security devices and systems. Programs routers and switches. Implements communications technologies (data or voice). Manages network services from planning phase through implementation. In addition to delivering at the client site, you will occasionally be tasked in productizing Excelacom's work, contributing to our Center of Excellence and intermittently working on Excelacom proposals to the client. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science or related field Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) Strong math, written and verbal communication skills with an analytical approach Ability to interact cross-functionally with various levels management and peers Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team-based environment 2 years of experience in Network Engineering Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, security technologies and network infrastructure is required. Advanced knowledge of the DOCSIS and EPON standards Working knowledge of CMTS platforms including: Casa C100G Arris E6000 Cisco cBR8 RPHY Harmonic vCMTS and RPDs Vecima RPDs Working knowledge of EPON platforms including: ADTRAN 95XX and SDX-6210 Vecima (Nokia) 7360 and Distributed Access Architecture SF-4x, SC-2D3 Working knowledge of switch platforms including: Cisco NCS/ASR Juniper PTX/QFX/ACX Working knowledge of routing protocols including: OSPF ISIS BGP v4/v6 Multicast Ability to write technical documentation Ability to write and follow detailed technical test plans Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in Telecommunications, Media, or Cable is highly preferred Experience in a professional office environment Relevant internship experience Basic understanding of SQL CPE and ONU background in trouble shooting is highly desirable Creative Network Trouble Shooting Skills. Compensation and Benefits: For individuals assigned to work in Colorado, Excelacom is required to include a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role. However, final salaries will vary based on several factors, such as candidate's level, qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. An individual may be hired at the Analyst, Consultant, or Manager level for this role with each level requiring an increasing set of responsibilities. For regular full-time employees, the estimated salary range is from $60,000 to $85,000. Our competitive salaries are just one component of Excelacom's total compensation package for our regular full-time employees.
