Job Description

The position is responsible for installing, servicing, repairing and maintaining the products that the organization sells. The products and services are natural gas measurement, flow control and odorization related. The service region covers the southern Great Lakes and Northeastern US. Extensive travel required . Typical work week

Monday thru Friday with occasional weekend work/travel.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installation of new odorization systems.
• Installation of measurement, flow control, and heat related products. *
• Respond to customer request for service and repair. *
• Annual maintenance of products. *
• Start up and commissioning of new products. *
• De-commissioning and remediation of equipment removed from service. *
• Assist in pipeline conditioning projects.
• Fabrication of equipment prior to installation.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Basic project management
• Cross Training

Qualification/Knowledge/Skills Required:

• 2+ years in some technical capacity (Energy Field Experience Preferred).
• Strong Mechanical, Technical and Electronic aptitude.
• Commercial HVAC experience a Plus
• Efficient Analytical skills.
• General computer knowledge including ability to use various devices, programs and applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to professionally communicate with customers and complete detailed field service reports.
• Independent, self-motivated.
• Ability to physically stand for long periods of time, work in adverse weather conditions, lift 70 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to drive a commercial heavy-duty pickup truck with trailer in all weather conditions.
• Must be available for extensive travel and able to travel and be away overnight with short notice.
• Must be available to work varying daily hours as projects require.
• Must be able to pass DOT qualifications and guidelines.
• Must be able to pass Pre-employment Drug Screening and Random Drug Screening throughout employment.
• Must be able to pass Operator Qualification Exams for the tasks they are performing.
• Must be able to pass general mechanical knowledge test
