We're currently hiring for Part Time Meter Readers in Malvern, AR ! NO EXPERIENCE is required with paid training! If you consider yourself an independent worker and enjoy being outside, this job is for you!

All of our field staff are provided with:

• Safety gear including company boot (allowance), vests, glasses, etc.
• Paid Training

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for reading water meters and recording volume used by residential and commercial consumers to ensure accurate consumption and billing. May perform visual meter inspection to assess the condition and overall operation of the meter and note any visible defects or issues.

Position reads roughly 2 weeks/month.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Must have access to your own reliable vehicle
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to walk up to 10-15 miles per day while reading meters accurately
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

Working Conditions and Hours:

• After the training period you will be transitioned to piece rate, which allows most of our employees to earn up to $11.00+/hour!

• Outdoor work environment
• Normal working hours are daylight hours; limited work hours on weekends except for periodic on-call duty and mass workloads
• Little supervision to give you freedom to work independently and manage your own day

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Successfully complete the company’s training program and pass applicable written and field tests
• Learn and apply safety measure relating to motor vehicle operation and other field related matters
