Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for all aspects of the patient payment process in the Baton Rouge Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic. The duties include reviewing, researching, coding, and generating third-party billing for a medical facility. Includes filing and follow-up of third-party insurance claims, receiving payments from self-pay patients, and posting and reconciliation of payments in the clinical software system. Will provide supervision to front desk personnel including billing coordinator(s), and health information coordinators in the front office clinic of oral surgery. Please apply
